So the upside of urban decay is.....

Memphis' homepark is sweet but it's a bust as soon as anyone sees you. It shows what is possible and is fun to skate.

There are so many lots like this in Memphis though. This particular one is located on top of a bluff so its hard to see the top from the street below. There are places like this in Chicago where a construction of this nature is feasible. People seem to be more uptight about land use here though due to high levels of political garbage....

They play, it's awesome, I was pleasantly surprised at the music they made, pleasantly surprised. After they played there was a stand up comedian and this is what I'm actually writing about this cloudy morning. HE VOMITED ON BIBLES! What is going on? His jokes had no substance so he went for shock value, ug. I need to find out where the people are that play country music. Oh I totally forgot until just now, at the end of his show he drank the vomit and then threw that up which begs one question: If you drink the vomit of a dog and then vomit, is it human vomit or dog vomit?

Saturday was our last show/party. After we had a rough night on Friday (read one destroyed door frame) the whole house wanted a nice rager with no consequences. My fingers were crossed and I had a good feeling. The stage looked great, so red, so pro. Mahjongg, Lazer Crystals, TMTMTMBY and Diamond Black Hearted Boy were all scheduled to play and were present. So far so good.

cellphone (no biggie, already replaced)
paperback of One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (sorry Dave, I didn't even start it)
Mini Tape Recorder (killed some bad memories)
Frisbee Golf Disc (so much for my new hobby)
One very old pair of canvas shoes (very stinky, good riddance but I wish I could have kept the laces)
One hat
One one of a kind t-shirt (this was the biggest loss)
and of course my orange bag that has carried my stuff through so many countries and places for like six years)

Jokes on the robber though, these items have no black market value
